• C. Do we need the copy of the GCSE?
• D. Yes, of course. We have to enclose it in the papers for the entrance examination.

S1:To apply for a university, you must pass the GCSE examination.Right?

S1: When do you take the GCSE examination?

S2: In May and we have the results in June.

S1: When do you take the entrance exam?

S2: Early July.

S1: When do you have the results of this exam?

S2: Usually in mid August.

S1: One more question. When do you get the letter of acceptance from the university?

S2: Late August or early September.

B. About a month.

C. So with the result. I can apply for a seat in a university?

B. No. You must wait for the letter of acceptance from the university.

A. Oh. Rather complicated! Then I can go to the admissions office of the university to do the necessary process for a tertiary study.

C. How long does it take to apply to a university?

B. About two months.

In order to be admitted to a university in Vietnam, all students have to following the process of applying. During March, they have to fill in the application form and send it to the university they choose in March. After passing the GCSE examination held in May, all students are able to sit for the entrance examination in July. Successful candidates will be sent a letter of acceptance from the university. All students have to do now is to prepare all required papers to be officially accepted of that university.
