Talk about your school library

My school library is quite small. But it has a lot of good book. There are a number of book available for us to read in the library and it is also useful for any classroom lessons such as science, history book, language book, novels, ect.

Hello everyone. My name is .... and today I will tell you a bit about my school's library. That is another place that is wide. Here is where our students come here to learn about knowledge, and even read comics, as well as novels. I area friends who often come here to find answers to difficult questions. That's why I love this place.

A school without a library is unthinkable these days. It must have books on various subjects, newspapers, journals and magazines. Students, those especially who want to add to their knowledge, go to the library in their vacant periods and study. It adds to their knowledge.

My school also has a big library. It is housed in a big hall. There are many almirahs in it. Each almirah has books on one subject only. There is a card for every book. Books are arranged according to their numbers.

Every student applies for a card and gets it. The librarian issues books against the card. No student can keep a book for more than fourteen days. Defaulters are fined.

On one side of the library hall there are long tables and benches. Students sit there and read newspapers, journals and magazines; some take down notes. No body is permitted to talk to disturb others.

Every class has one library period once a week. Students go to the library in the period and study.

The library also has reference and text books. These are meant for studying in the library only. The calm and quiet atmosphere of the library helps the students to work attentively.

The school librarian is a trained and qualified person and well-experienced. He gives advice to students on the choice of books. He is an expert in his work. He understands his duty well and is of great help to students. We find him busy all the time. He advises students not to spoil books by scribbling in them or tearing off the pages.

Books add a lot to our knowledge. These are our best friends.

Every school has a library and like every school, even my school has a wonderful library. A library is a very important part of a school as it helps students to gain and acquire knowledge.

It is the heart and soul of a school as it provides lots of information and details that students would require.

Our school has a very large library. There are plenty number of books in the library. We have a librarian who keeps a track of all the books that go in and out of the library. We have an exclusive library period, where we are allowed to go and read books.

From small story books to large reference books, journals and magazines are all available in our library. They are all arranged in different sections, so that it becomes easy for those who search for a particular book. It helps students refer notes that they are looking for and helps in cultivating a reading habit too.

The librarian allocates cards to students and notes down details when a book is being lend from the library. Once the reference is over, then the book needs to be returned back to the library. We children usually read small story books or Children`s Knowledge bank book, but we have seen students from higher classes, visit library and note down points that they require for their learning. They sometimes even take books from library for reference.

The library is usually a very quiet place and it is often seen full with students and teachers refereeing notes that they require for the respective subjects that they are looking out for. There is a separate reading room in the library where students could go and read whatever they like, but maintain silence.

Lots of knowledge could be acquired from a library and our school library has a great collection of books, which makes this a lot easier for students to gather information.I like my library very much and I love spending time reading books, sitting in the reading room. It is so quiet that one could really enjoy reading and also study peacefully and learn a lot of great things in the world.
