Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusiastic. In the contestants, competitor that I like most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and participate in the program compete for knowledge.

Bài 2.Ai là triệu phú

What do you do in the free time? To me, it is waiting to see “Who wants to be a millionaire”. This program is of Vietnam, buy copyright from the program of the UK. It is shown on VTV3 on Tuesdays at 21 o'clock. In the program, I like MC Van Lai Sam most, who is a very funny and friendly person. The rules are quite simple, the contestants have to answer quickly and accurately, the best one will be chosen on the hot seat and try himself with the questions that the program offers. With every correct answer, he will achieve a certain milestone. The player is given 4 helpdesks, 50.50, calls to relatives, counseling on the spot, consultation with the audiences. The questions of the program are quite interesting, making the audiences so interested. I think this is a very interesting and useful program, it provides us with a wide variety of selective knowledge.My family enjoyed this show so much, all members gather in the living room to watch the show, which makes me feel so happy. In the future, I hope the program will develop further and bring to the viewers great moments of entertainment.

My favourite TV programme is Polònia. It’s on TV3 on Thursdays evening, after the news. It’s a comedy. Toni Soler is the director and the programme is about some actors who play the role and imitate famous people, mainly politicians acting recent news events.

Bài 1
Today I’m going to talk about American Masterchef which is my favourite program.

Masterchef was an interesting program, it showed for me a great number of delicious food and how the way to cook them.

Last summer when I got stuck in my learning English, My friend suggest that I should watch American Masterchef to improve my English ability. Then, I tried to watch it. You know, The program was really interesting, and I kept my eyes glued to screen every night.

There are a variety reasons why I love this program.

Firstly, I am keen on cooking and spend all most of free time at weekend to cook yummy dishes. And Masterchef has provided me a wide range of method to make many cuisine over the world, so I can learn and cook them easily. I prefer cook Vietnamese dishes, but sometimes I also cook Italian food such as pizza and pasta

Moreover, I admire chef Ha who is the first blind contestant of MasterChef and the winner of its third season. I think Ms Ha set a good example by working hard and having a positive outlook on life. Thanks to her inspiration, I believe that no pain no gain, so I will continue to study harder.

Nowadays, I do not watch TV much, but when I was a student, I used to watch television a lot. I liked many TV programs and watched them regularly during that time. The TV program that made a strong impression on me was a documentary that I watched on the Discovery Channel.

The TV program was called “The sacrifice of genius” and it was a serial that had 10 episodes in total. I watched every episode and enjoyed them thoroughly. This was mainly a documentary serial which emphasised the sacrifice the famous and genius scientists like Marie Curie, Thomas Edison and 8 other scientists made in their life.

I watched the TV program during the third term of my university years. In our local time, the program was broadcast at 9.00 pm every Thursday. It showed the life and work of the famous scientists and the sacrifices they made for others to make the world a better place. These stories were presented in a fascinating way and each episode was made painstakingly. I got the impression that I was actually watching those great scientists and their works in person!

I have learned so many things about the lives of these scientists and the sacrifices they made. Those sacrifices were unbelievable and after watching this program, I could not stop thinking about those famous scientists and their supreme dedication.

This program has helped me judge life from a different perspective. I realised that working hard to bring something important for others can be more meaningful than our personal achievements like wealth and fame. I later searched for more details of those scientists and other famous people and learned about their life and work. I was actually inspired by this program and started learning deeply about the people who made the world a place where we no longer need to live in the darkness and do not have to compete with the wild animals to collect our food.

My favourite television program is an old series which was produced during the '80s in America. The title of this serial was "MacGyver" and it was an action TV series. MacGyver was produced for about 5 consecutive seasons, and it was considered as one of the top-rated TV series in its era.

RCTI was the local television station in Indonesia that broadcasted the programme. The TV series was usually played once a week for about one hour, and I remember that it was played on Friday Night at 7.00 pm. So as a teenager during that time, I would have sat in front of the television from 6.45 pm and waited for the programme to start. On the very next day, my friends and I would discuss what had happened in it, how cool and exciting the episode was and how smart and talented Mr MacGyver was.  

The unique thing about it is that the main character, MacGyver, did not like to use a gun. Instead of using rifles, that we see many heroes do, he used his creativity in creating tools to fight his enemies. I remembered that in one of the episodes, where he was locked by his enemy in a garage, he found some tools, that are used to open the gate of the garage, he escaped from this place.  

I believed I learned some positive things from this series. I learned that we should be encouraged to use our creativity rather than using our physical power and weapons. I believe that MacGyver had influenced so many teenagers during my era and I hope that it would be remade in the future

Hôm nay tôi sẽ nói về American Masterchef, chương trình yêu thích của tôi.

Masterchef là một chương trình thú vị, nó cho tôi thấy rất nhiều món ăn ngon và cách nấu chúng.

Mùa hè năm ngoái khi tôi bị kẹt trong việc học tiếng Anh, bạn tôi khuyên tôi nên xem American Masterchef để cải thiện khả năng tiếng Anh của mình. Sau đó, tôi đã cố gắng xem nó. Bạn biết đấy, chương trình này thực sự thú vị, và tôi vẫn dán mắt vào màn hình mỗi đêm.

Có nhiều lý do tại sao tôi yêu chương trình này.

Đầu tiên, tôi thích nấu ăn và dành phần lớn thời gian rảnh vào cuối tuần để nấu các món ăn ngon. Và Masterchef đã cung cấp cho tôi một loạt phương pháp để tạo ra nhiều món ăn trên khắp thế giới, vì vậy tôi có thể học và nấu chúng một cách dễ dàng. Tôi thích nấu các món ăn Việt Nam, nhưng đôi khi tôi cũng nấu các món ăn Ý như pizza và mì ống

Hơn nữa, tôi ngưỡng mộ đầu bếp Hà, người là thí sinh mù đầu tiên của MasterChef và là người chiến thắng trong mùa thứ ba. Tôi nghĩ rằng cô Hà đã làm gương tốt bằng cách làm việc chăm chỉ và có cái nhìn tích cực về cuộc sống. Nhờ cảm hứng của cô ấy, tôi tin rằng không có nỗi đau nào không có được, vì vậy tôi sẽ tiếp tục học tập chăm chỉ hơn.

Ngày nay, tôi không xem TV nhiều, nhưng khi còn là sinh viên, tôi thường xem tivi rất nhiều. Tôi thích nhiều chương trình TV và xem chúng thường xuyên trong thời gian đó. Chương trình truyền hình gây ấn tượng mạnh với tôi là một bộ phim tài liệu mà tôi đã xem trên Kênh Discovery.

Chương trình truyền hình có tên là Sự hy sinh của thiên tài, và đó là một bộ phim có tổng cộng 10 tập. Tôi đã xem mọi tập phim và thưởng thức chúng một cách kỹ lưỡng. Đây chủ yếu là một bộ phim tài liệu nối tiếp nhấn mạnh sự hy sinh của các nhà khoa học nổi tiếng và thiên tài như Marie Curie, Thomas Edison và 8 nhà khoa học khác đã làm trong cuộc đời họ.

Tôi đã xem chương trình TV trong suốt học kỳ thứ ba của những năm đại học. Trong giờ địa phương của chúng tôi, chương trình được phát vào lúc 9 giờ tối thứ năm hàng tuần. Nó cho thấy cuộc sống và công việc của các nhà khoa học nổi tiếng và sự hy sinh mà họ dành cho những người khác để biến thế giới thành một nơi tốt đẹp hơn. Những câu chuyện này đã được trình bày một cách hấp dẫn và mỗi tập phim được thực hiện một cách siêng năng. Tôi có ấn tượng rằng tôi thực sự đang theo dõi những nhà khoa học vĩ đại và những công trình của họ trong người!

Tôi đã học được rất nhiều điều về cuộc sống của những nhà khoa học này và những hy sinh mà họ đã làm. Những hy sinh đó thật không thể tin được và sau khi xem chương trình này, tôi không thể ngừng suy nghĩ về những nhà khoa học nổi tiếng và sự cống hiến tối cao của họ.

Chương trình này đã giúp tôi đánh giá cuộc sống từ một góc nhìn khác. Tôi nhận ra rằng làm việc chăm chỉ để mang lại điều gì đó quan trọng cho người khác có thể có ý nghĩa hơn những thành tựu cá nhân của chúng ta như sự giàu có và danh tiếng. Sau đó tôi đã tìm kiếm thêm chi tiết về những nhà khoa học và những người nổi tiếng khác và tìm hiểu về cuộc sống và công việc của họ. Tôi thực sự được truyền cảm hứng từ chương trình này và bắt đầu tìm hiểu sâu về những người biến thế giới thành một nơi mà chúng ta không còn cần phải sống trong bóng tối và không phải cạnh tranh với các động vật hoang dã để thu thập thức ăn của chúng ta.

Chương trình truyền hình yêu thích của tôi là một bộ phim cũ được sản xuất trong những năm 80 ở Mỹ. Tiêu đề của sê-ri này là "MacGyver" và nó là một phim truyền hình hành động. MacGyver được sản xuất trong khoảng 5 mùa liên tiếp và nó được coi là một trong những phim truyền hình được đánh giá cao nhất trong thời đại của nó.

RCTI là đài truyền hình địa phương ở Indonesia đã phát sóng chương trình này. Phim truyền hình thường được phát mỗi tuần một lần trong khoảng một giờ và tôi nhớ rằng nó được phát vào tối thứ Sáu lúc 7.00 tối. Vì vậy, là một thiếu niên trong thời gian đó, tôi sẽ ngồi trước tivi từ 6.45 tối và chờ chương trình bắt đầu. Vào ngày hôm sau, tôi và bạn bè của tôi sẽ thảo luận về những gì đã xảy ra trong đó, tập phim hay và thú vị như thế nào và ông MacGyver thông minh và tài năng như thế nào.
