In our lives, we come across many people and see new faces every day. Many of them remain anonymous and some become our friends. Friends come and go throughout our lives and each friendship is a unique relationship. Do you have a true best friend? I sure do. Masy is truly my best friend. She is always there for me.
Lien and I are always together; no matter where we are! We always go shopping together and she helps me pick out what and what not to buy. We also help each other with schoolwork, and family and friends problems. She helps me through my toughest times, and is there for my best times. She is the person who will help me when I am down, and make me feel better about myself. We contact each other frequently. We were both excited if we met each other. We share the same hobbies. She really has a good sense of humour. Whenever I am with her, I will always laugh my head off.It’s hard to find a friend like that. She’s the kind of person that I could never lie to. She knows me so well that she could tell if I was lying. Because we think so alike and it’s like we’re communicating with our minds! At the same time we’re always thinking the same thing or have the same idea. And she also knows everything about me; even my secrets or all my expressions and how I sound when I’m hyper, frustrated, depressed, annoyed, or happy.
Lien is simple and very compassionate, always willing to lend a helping hand or give a sympathetic ear to other people’s problems. That is why, aside from my mother, I always share my problems with her.
‘No man is an island’. We all need friends. A man without friends is a lonely man. We need friends whom we can confide in and share our problems with. So, we should never ever take our friends for granted, we should appreciate our friendships. Masy is a friend that I could and will never forget. I can’t imagine any better of a friend.

He was my childhood friend, but I lost him about 15 years ago when his father had to leave my home town to live in another big city in order to carry on the job he was holding. Since then, I didn’t really see him until, of course, one day I met him about a couple of years ago at a local fish market where I live. I could barely recognize him after more than 15 years as he had become a “big man” in his mid 20’s by then. In fact, I would probably have never recognized him unless his uncle, the only relative of him I knew, was kind enough to introduce him to me after so many years, leaving me completely speechless and ecstatic!
After meeting Ivan, my childhood friend, with whom I got along nicely until the day he left our home town, we both wanted to visit each other as often as possible in an effort to renew our friendship. But, because of the long distance between us, it wasn’t really possible. So, the only time we could meet is when I travel to his city in order to do some shopping, which seldom more than once a month.Being the only child of his parents, Ivan could be moody and demanding sometimes. Having a reserved personality, Ivan told me that he didn’t really have many friends except me and a few others from his college.
I like spending time with Ivan mainly because he is very serious about his life and career. Besides, I could trust him like a brother with my life since my childhood as he would never reveal our “secrets” (friends have “secrets”. Don’t they?). In fact, he treats me more like a brother than a friend, since he doesn’t have any siblings, advising me at every opportunity to take good care of my elderly parents, which I really appreciate. Finally, I like to spend time with Ivan because he appreciates and understands the value of my time, and that not too many people would befriend him because of his introvert personality (even though he is a great person once you get to know him).bởi Huất Anh Lộc (Epic's Minecraft)
