CÂU ĐIỀU ƯỚC TRONG TIẾNG ANH

Dùng để thể hiện mong muốn, nguyện vọng nào đó hiện đang không có thật, thường là bày tỏ sự tiếc nuối khi đã không thực hiện một điều gì đó, hoặc thể hiện 1 mong ước viển vông, hoàn toàn không thể xảy ra. 

* Công thức: 

Khẳng định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + V-ed

Phủ định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + not + V-ed

Cấu trúc If only: If only + (that) + S + (not) + V-ed

Ex: Tom wishes that he had a big house (Tom ước anh ấy có một ngôi nhà to.)

Thể hiện những mong muốn, nguyện vọng khi nghĩ về một chuyện trong quá khứ, thường bày tỏ sự tiếc nuối khi thời gian đó, và mong muốn hành động khác đi hoặc mọi chuyện đã xảy ra theo hướng khác đi.

* Công thức: 

Khẳng định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + had + V3

Phủ định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + had not + V3

Cấu trúc If only: If only + (that) + S + had (not) + V3

Ex: I wish that I had studied harder at school. (Tôi ước rằng tôi đã học hành chăm chỉ hơn ở trường.)

Thể hiện những mong muốn, nguyện vọng trong thời gian sắp tới. Chúng ta sử dụng câu này với mong muốn ai đó, sự việc gì đó trong tương lai sẽ xảy ra theo mong muốn của chúng ta.

* Công thức:

Khẳng định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + would/could + V 

Phủ định: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + would/could + not + V

Cấu trúc If only: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + would/could + (not) + V

Ex: I wish that John wouldn’t busy tomorrow. (Tôi ước John không bận vào ngày mai.)

Bài 1: Viết lại các câu sau với cấu trúc WISH
