Writing describe your school

The name of my school is St. John's Academy (write the name of your own school). I travel to school by our school bus. There are fifty-five class rooms. There is a big playground too for us to play. Our playground is covered with grass. There are three beautiful gardens with flowers like roses, hibiscus, sunflower and seasonal blooms. Altogether there are sixty teachers who teach us all the subjects. The teachers teach us with great care and attention. Mr. Jason is the Principal of our school. Our classrooms are very airy and beautifully decorated. There are two thousand students in our school. We have a big library filled with many kinds of books. We are taught to obey and respect our teachers and elders. Weak students are given special classes by our teachers. Various activities and functions are held all the year round. The Annual Prize Day Ceremony is the best of all. I am very proud of my school. I love and respect my school. I love to go to school because then I can play with my friends.

y school is in the vicinity of my house. It is one of the big school in that area which is named one of the school's student. I went there when I was 6 years old, because it is not allowed to start school before than 6. The atmosphre at school was very reliable, we had our own scool sport teams at football and volleyball, also we had our labs, library, medical room, gym. Teacher stuff was very close with students, so we all respected our teachers. My school times are the most memorable times im my life, beacuse I enjoyed my every minute there. I had very good friends and teachers that I still keep in touch with them. I also belonged to our school's volleyball team, so we frequently were busy at gym and attended some competitons. Even in my last year we won "the best team among schools in 2010" award.

My school is big. It has a large ground for student to play and twenty-two classroom.that's all

I study in XYZ Secondary School. It is one of the best schools in Singapore. It consists of several Roman style buildings. Our school has all the facilities of a modern school, such as well furnished and airy class rooms, best laboratories, a big library with a huge collection of books, a vast play ground and even a swimming pool.

Our school building is situated in the middle. There is motorway leading from the main entrance. The playground is on the left of the motorway and a big garden on the right. When you enter the building, the principal’s room is on the left. They are all well furnished. There are twenty classrooms. Our laboratories are well equipped. The school library has an up-to-date collection of books on many subjects. Our librarian and her two assistants are very helpful.


Our school, like other schools, has prescribed a uniform for us. We have to wear white trousers, a white shirt and a black tie. The girls have to wear white shirts and skirts.

Our principal is very strict as he pays strict attention to behavior, punctuality and cleanliness. The most well-behaved and punctual student will be assigned as the class prefect.

Our principal is a strict disciplinarian. He accepts the help and advice of all teachers. Though our principal is strict, he is fair and loving. He tries to find out the reason and guides us. If one violates any rules, he will be punished. Our principal is very strict in this aspect.

Our teachers are also very strict. They teach us with the utmost care, guide us with our assessments and other preparations and help us in times of need.

I like my school very much and am proud to be a student of that school.

School is a place for us to learn, but most of all, school is a place for fun. We have our first love there, meet our first best friend, and have our first hair being pulled there. Whatever our past experiences at school, we hope that it is an amazing place for you as it is for us. Our school is SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. It is located in Jalan Pemuda Number 149 Semarang, Central Java. The vision of this school is to be the best senior high school in Indonesia by prioritizing the quality and personality to suit the national culture.

As one of the biggest schools in Indonesia, SMA Negeri 3 Semarang has very good infrastructure in terms of building and supporting facilities. The school had been renovated from its original condition into a two-floor construction. When you arrive at the front yard of this school, you will be greeted by a security. The security post is located close to the front gate. Everyday there are two security officers waiting at their post. The school is arranged in a square shape. In the centre, you will see a wide open area with a flag pole. The area is used for flag raising ceremony and also for sports activity as well as other outdoor activities. The headmaster’s office is located not far from the entrance gate alongside the administration staff office and teachers’ hall. There are 24 classrooms at this school. The first level is used for the grade X and XI, as well as some laboratories. The grade XII students are placed in the classroom on the second level. To help the teaching and learning process, there are also some laboratories: 1 language laboratory, 1 biology laboratory, 1 science laboratory, 1 mathematic laboratory, 1 social science laboratory and 2 ICT laboratories. There are 12 toilets around the school for the students and 6 toilets for the teachers. There is also a mosque for the students to do their noon prayer. The mosque has enough space for 1000 people. The school furthermore has a massive parking lot since students and teachers are coming to schools with motorcycles or even cars. There are two parking lots in the school. One is located in the south of the school and one at the east side of the school. Garbage bins are placed around each corner to ensure that the students are keeping up the clean environment at school.

Like other schools, there are many people work together to develop this school. At the moment, the headmaster of this school is Drs. Bambang Nianto, M.Ed. He is assisted by 132 teachers. The teachers are subject teachers, as well as the counselling and religious education teachers. Considering the school as one the most successful schools in the country, the school has huge number of students. There are more than 1000 students at this school as each grade has around 8 classes. There are 25 administration staffs to help the schools running and 9 securities who work shifty based. To keep the school clean and tidy, the school employs 8 gardeners and cleaners who work during school hours to clean the classrooms and toilets as well as the yard. There is also another stakeholder who are helping all the school community to do their work, which is the school committee. The school committee are from the parents of the students and they are involved in many school activities.

Intracurricular activity or the teaching and learning process of SMAN 3 Semarang starts at 7.15 and ends at 2.15 in the afternoon. There are two recess time for the students and the one at noon has longer time (45 minutes) to allow the students to do their noon prayer as well as their lunch. During these hours, the students are not allowed to go out of school, unless there is on outside school learning. The students are bound by the rules and regulations in the school. When the classes are held, the students should be inside the classroom. The headmaster usually will walk around to check the classes. When one of the teacher is absent from the class, a substitute teacher will be assigned to ensure that all the students are learning.

Besides the teaching and learning process, the school also has many extracurricular activities. Scout is one of them. The students practice this on Friday afternoon. There are also sports activities, such as basketball and volleyball team for boys and girls. Martial arts activities adds the list, like taek won do, silat, and basketball. There are various extracurricular activities here. Many are practiced in the afternoon of Saturdays and Sundays. Some are practiced with the help of the physical education teacher, or even by hiring an outside trainer. Because of the variety of extracurricular activities, it is not surprising that this school has many achievements.

As has been stated before, SMA 3 Semarang has many achievements from decades ago. Some of the current achievements of this school is taking 5 silver medals from science Olympic held in Mataram. The students from this school won the medal in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and geography. They also got silver medals from astronomy and computer science. In short, the achievement of the school has motivated the school community to optimistically struggle for the best senior high school in Indonesia. By considering all the good points of this school in academic and extracurricular, it is not surprising is you want to send your children to study here.
